About Dr. Jennifer Baars:

Dr. Baars grew up in Palos Verdes, California. She received her bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Davis and went on to earn her medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began her combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Tulane during the year that Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. Dr. Baars continued to care for patients in New Orleans for another year and then transferred to Banner Good Samaritan Hospital and Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. She successfully completed her residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Baars enjoys treating patients of all ages with particular interests in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, women's health and geriatrics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and watching college football. Dr. Baars is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
